Narrow Quay HR is a commercially-focused, pragmatic, professional HR consultancy. We work with a large number of academies, MATs and maintained schools, providing them with professional HR support and services. We are very experienced in the education sector and understand the context in which schools operate.

Caitlin specialises in HR and leads Narrow Quay HR Consultancy with Sarah Martin.

She has experience working with a range of clients on all aspects of HR and employment law, including disciplinary and grievances, redundancies, discrimination, and consultation exercises. Caitlin provides practical and commercial advice and support to businesses, schools, charities and GP practices, working with them to manage both day to day matters and more complex strategic projects.

Caitlin aims to provide practical and commercial advice and works with clients to achieve their strategic HR plans and provide project support.

She has worked as a lawyer in the employment team at VWV for the last 16 years. Caitlin is client focused and enjoys the interaction of employment law and HR advice.

Caitlin is dual qualified and has a post graduate certificate in Human Resources. She is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).

Sarah Martin

Sarah Martin

HR Consultant

Sarah has worked as a lawyer and HR Consultant for five years, most recently as an Associate. She now specialises in HR support and leads Narrow Quay HR Consultancy along with Caitlin Anniss.

Sarah has experience working with a range of clients including businesses, schools, charities and GP practices.

Examples of the HR support Sarah can provide includes day to day support with employee relations issues, on-site support at disciplinary or grievance hearings, conducting investigations and providing on-site support with projects work such as restructuring or changes to terms and conditions.

Sarah’s background as an experienced employment lawyer ensures that she can get to grips with issues quickly and provide a well-reasoned and pragmatic solution.
